Have you ever wanted to know what it was like to Garden? Well, Webkinz gives you such a great opportunity to learn how to grow your own food! This is really great forw two reasons (and probably even more!). First, you get to learn about what plants need every day to grow and what you need to do to keep them happy, and once you harvest your own food...you won''t ever need to buy it from the W-Shop again!




First, we highly suggest that you buy the "How to Grow your own Food" book. All the things that you will need for gardening are found in the Gardening category of the W-Shop. You can decide what things you would like to grow. You can choose to grow all or one kind of the following things: cabbage, carrots, corn, tomatoes, watermelon, pumpkins, and/or strawberries. Buy the seeds from the ones that you are interested in from the W-shop. Then head home and go into your outdoor yard. If you do not have one of these yet, you will need to buy one. An outdoor yard costs =W=1000 Kinzcash. The watermelons and pumpkin seeds are =W= 45 Kinzcash all the rest of the seeds, and the book, are =W= 50 Kinzcash.

Open your book and go to the 'Planting Your Garden' section of the book and it will tell you exactly what to do. First decide where you would like to plant your garden in your outdoor yard. Once you have decided, click on the seed packet in your docket and drag it to that spot. The spot where you CAN plant your seeds show up green. Areas that you CANNOT plant show up red. A small patch of dirt will appear with the beginning signs of your plant!

Once you have your seeds planted, you need to inspect them. Click on the dirt patch and you will be asked if you want to start garening. Click ýes' and a small menu will appear in the upper left corner of your screen.

Initially, you want to inspect your plant. This will show a thing that looks like a tape measure...and it will give you the status of your plan. The only thing you will need to do the first day is to water your plant. Click 'water'on the menu and a small watering can will appear. Move the can over to your dirt patch and click on your plant. Your watering can will begin to water the plant!

Finally, click on inspect again and this will tell you that your plants are 'good growing'. Wew! Day 1 is over! You must check on your garden regularly otherwise your plants will not do well.
