The game of Bean Counter can be found at the Coffee Shop. Just head on over to the bag of Java by the stairs. When you hover your mouse over the bag it will break open. Click on it to activate the game.

Bean Counter is pretty easy to play. All you need to do is unload the bags of beans from the trucks and put them on the red platform. The trucks will be on the right side of your screen, the red platform will be on your left. The bags will be tossed out of the truck. Your penguin must catch the bags first. To do that all you need to do is position your penguin under the bag as it falls. Just move your mouse from left to right to move your penguin under the bags. Then you have to unload the bags by left clicking with your mouse when you are by the platform.

Don’t try to catch too many bags! You can only hold 5 bags at a time. If you try to hold more than 5, your penguin will crumble under the weight and you will lose a life. You will get three lives at the start of the game. You can get more lives throughout the game. When you see a penguin icon get tossed from the van, just catch it. Each one is worth an additional life.

There are five different trucks that you will need to try to unload. Every bag that you catch is worth points. You also get points when you put them on the platform. You lose points for every bag you fail to catch as well.

The penguins unloading the trucks have quite the sense of humor and will try to mess up your game by tossing out various other items that you will want to avoid. Each truck adds another element to avoid in addition to the one’s you are already working with.

★ Truck 1 ~ only drops bags of coffee beans

★ Truck 2 ~ adds anvils

★ Truck 3 ~ adds fish

★ Truck 4 ~ adds flower pots

★ Truck 5 ~ nothing else is added

The anvil, fish and flower pots will always drop in the same spot. The anvil drops right by the end of the truck. The fish will drop by the platform, and the flower pot drops right in the middle of your screen.

The game ends when you have finished unloading all five trucks, or if you go through all of your lives. If you do manage to make it through all five trucks, you get a bonus of 60 coins!

Once you have finished the game, you will get to see your final score and receive your beans.
