Hey Wizard 101 fans, we know how tough some of these quests can be when you are trying to find the things you need! We put together a guide on how to complete the ‘Library Dues’ Quest. You must find the History books for all the Schools of magic that are spread throughout Wizard City. Most of them are protected by some pretty tough bosses. We wanted to make sure you knew where to find each one…so read on and get the scoop below:

You can complete most of these in any order you’d like. However, you do have to be a certain level to get into Colossus Boulevard as well as be a subscribing member to get to some of these places.

You will receive the Library Dues quest from Harold Argleston at the library in the commons of Wizard City. When you are finished, you will hand it in to Boris Tallstaff who is also in the Library.

**HINT: I found it much easier to defeat a tough boss by first defeating the lesser minion with them. Then concentrate all your efforts on the main boss. Also, each of these books are sitting on pedestals in the rooms that you defeat the boss in, so do not leave the room before you click on the book or you will have to fight the boss again to see the book.**

1. History of Life- This book is sitting on a pedestal once you defeat Lady Blackhope in her tower in Unicorn Alley.








2. History of Storm- Defeat the Harvest Lord on Triton Avenue








3. History of Myth- Defeat General Akilles on Cyclops Lane








4. History of Fire Magic- Defeat Prince Alicane SwiftArrow in the FireGlobe Theater on FireCat Alley








5. History of Ice Magic- Defeat the Gobbler Prince on Colossus Boulevard








6. History of Death Magic- Defeat Lord NightShade in the Sunken City. I found this to be the hardest one because you cannot enter alone. You can find the Sunken City behind the waterfall in the commons of Wizard City. (It’s the one by the bridge just before Unicorn Alley). As soon as you enter the Sunken City you are entered into battle with three Minions that have 500+ hit points each and they are very hard to kill alone..so bring some friends along for some help!


*You can bring along a friend to defeat all of these bosses, so you do not have to do it alone…but with the exception of the History of Death, you can. Good luck!
