I couldn't wait to see what it was like to play MapleStory as a fearless warrior! I already had a bowman and magician characters so I decided to see what the MapleStory journey would be like as a warrior. Although I usually go for the character who can fight monsters from a distance, there was something about being face to face with a monster that sounded exciting. So I signed in and created a new character.

When I created my character I kept in mind that eventually I wanted her to be a warrior. So when I randomized her stat points I made sure to pick a combination that already had high Str and Dex. Also I chose a simple sword as her weapon. With a tube top and a skirt my character wasn't really looking like a warrior yet, but there wasn't much else I could do so I entered the game to start my warrior job hunt.
Since I was just a "beginner" I knew I was going to have to work hard to be suitable for the warrior job. In order to qualify for the warrior job you have to be a level 10 beginner. So Right away i looked for any Warrior Advancment NPC's who could help me get on my way. They all had quests for me that basically said to kill the monsters I was already killing. They either wanted me to kill a certain number of monsters like 20 red snails, or they wanted me to collect something from them like 10 twigs. The
best part about these kind of quests is that they reward you with XP and other prizes for doing something you were already doing anyway! Each time I leveled up I had to remember to spend my stat points wisely. For a warrior I needed to spend them mostly on Str and Dex but also spend a little on HP.
After working hard and fighting for a good amount of time, I reached a level 8 and decided it would be a good time to leave MapleStory Island and head out to the "real world". I found out that i need to take a ship out and then head to the Warrior Village of Perion. When my ship docked I checked the map and routed my way to Perion. On the way I fought much harder monsters and finally leveled up to a level 10! Another Warrior Advancment NPC told me that I needed to talk to the "Dancing with Balrog" the warrior master.
When I finally arrived at the Village of Perion it didn't disappoint, it definitely looked like a Warrior village, since it was very desert like and rough. Everyone had painted faces and looked like they were ready to go into battle. At the very top of the village there was Dancing with Balrog in his cave with is apprentices. He explained that he would train me to be a great warrior and that all I needed to start the
job was to be a level 10 and have 35 Str. I was already excited and ready to do whatever it took to be a great warrior.
I had worked so hard and I couldn't wait for it to say "warrior" under my name instead of "beginner". The cheif offically made me a warrior and gave me a few things to help me become a stronger and smarter fighter. He gave me more hp and best of all new skills and skill points! Right away I used the points to get two new fighting skills and a healing skill. I also went straight to the weapons shop and spent my hard earned mesos on a better sword and armor. All the things I had been waiting to buy! With Warrior under my name, my new skills ready to go and my new weapon and armor equipped, i was ready to begin the next chapter of my warrior journey!
