Enter the land of Xen, a world not big enough for the two twin daughters of the King of Xen to share. Adeline and Marian are as opposite one another as light is to dark. Play Secret of the Summer Solstice to join with them on their adventures as you help to save Xen.

The Secret of the Summer Solstice is different from most of the free-to-play MMOG’s. In addition to the normal in game quests that players find, Secret of the Summer Solstice offers their players a unique experience. Daily in-game events are run by Outspark Game Masters, giving the player a way to actually contribute to the evolution of the game’s storyline.

Developed by DnC Entertainment, and published by Outspark,, Secret of Summer was released on January 9, 2008. Secret of the Summer Solstice is free to download, with no monthly subscription needed. In addition to the daily events, players will find themselves immersed in a fantasy world ripe with unique and colorful items for the characters. There’s even an innovative smelting system that allows the players to enhance their equipment.

Once you reach level 16, you can choose between one of four classes:

• Acolyte
• Fighter
• Mage
• Rogue

Once you have chosen your class, you can continue leveling your character while on your journey to find the actual Secret of the Summer Solstice, and finally attempt to kill Alastor, an evil tyrant that darkens the world of Xen.

In addition to questing, players are treated to a variety of fun events like trivia contests, mini-games, storytelling, weddings, and parties. Game Masters attend these events, and players are also given the chance to win free items. Watch out though. Monsters have been known to crash some of the parties!

Like most free-to-play online games, you will not be able to attain premium items without paying for them. To get these premium items such as limited edition clothing, you must purchase SparkCash from the Outspark website. New players receive a 250 SparkCash shopping spree. Spending $5 will get you 3,500 in SparkCash, while spending $100 will get you 70,000 SparkCash.
