Freaky Creatures Launches Free Mini Game Series

Ten Ton Hamster just received information that Abandon Interactive launched free mini-games to introduce players to Freaky Creatures.

MALIBU, Calif. - May 28, 2008 - Abandon Interactive Entertainment today announced Miri's Lab, one of several new mini-games to support the launch of the upcoming cross-platform massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, Freaky Creatures. As part of the MMO's ever-expanding online universe, Miri's Lab gives players a sneak peak at the Freaky Creatures storyline by allowing them to try out the mini game for free on the game's website, MyFreakyCreatures.com.

In Miri's Lab, players are introduced to Miri Soria, an orphan with a powerful affinity with all things living. Miri is the only one that can save her school, Thorn Academy, from a small catastrophe in one of the laboratories. Players can help Miri save the day under strict time constraints, using a steady hand and intricate strategy to move to the next level. The title gives players a first look at Miri's character and storyline from the Freaky Creatures MMO, scheduled for release in late summer.

A cross-platform MMO game, Freaky Creatures allows players to build the ultimate, customizable creatures and then battle them against friends. Players begin with collectable action figures and a flash drive that brings the creatures to life online. The initial creatures come with 50 different parts, 20 powers and 4 objects that can be placed into the creature's lair. The variety of parts and powers will allow players to create more than 3 billion visual combinations. Players can battle other creatures via PC to PC or PC to mobile game play.
