Club Penguin is full of secrets and my 9 year old found one! We wanted to share his find with all of you.

You can make up to 800 coins reading the book Burnt Out Bulbs! Yes, 800 of them! Did you know there are hidden coins throughout the book? The more coins that you can find, the more you’ll get at the end of the story.

As you type the story out, you’ll notice that the page on the right hand side of the book fills in with a picture. It is on these pictures that you will find the hidden coins. There is one coin to be found on each page, except for the very last one. This is a walkthrough to help you find the coins. Now, as you may know, you change the story a little bit by picking different options throughout the story. I will take you through this walkthrough with one set of options.

First head over to the library, which is located on the second floor of the Coffee Shop. Choose the book Burnt Out Bulbs. Start typing. Stop after you’ve typed the words “burned out!” Look at the picture, and you’ll see a puck on the ground. Use your mouse to push the puck with your cursor so that it moves to the left and then off of your screen. If you pushed hard enough, the puck will come back over to the page bringing a coin along with it. Click on the coin.

On the next page, don’t type anything yet. The picture is dark. Move your cursor to the upper left corner, a coin will appear. Click on the coin.

On the third page, the coin is hidden in the piano. Again, before typing anything, click on the top of the piano to open it, and the coin will be revealed. Click on the coin and move on to the next page.

You’ll find the hidden coin on the cuckoo clock on the next page. Click on the clock and when the bird comes out, it will have the coin. Click quick for this one! Don’t worry! If you miss it, just keep clicking on the clock until you get the coin.

The next page is when the choices come in to play. For this guide, I chose “viking”. The next coin is really hard to get. The floorboards move underneath the penguin! There are a total of 4 floorboards that you need to move. The move in different directions. You’ll have to click, hold your mouse button down, and pull or push the floorboard in the direction that it will move. You have to be quick! The order of the floorboards is: Right, Left, Up, Down. You’ll now see a small black screen. The coin will appear at the bottom right side of the screen.

Next you’ll go to an igloo. The coin here is hidden in the fireplace. Use the right side torch to open the door to the fireplace. Use the torch from the left side of the wall to light the fire. Use the other torch to close the door. The coin will shoot up the chimney, into the fish, and the fish will spit it out of it’s mouth! Click on the coin, and move on. Note: I chose “barrel” for my choice in the story on this page. If you don't pick barrel, the coin will be found in a different way.

Now you will go back to the rink. Balls of fire will come out of the barrel. When they are done, you might notice that the ball on the right looks different... Hmmm... Like a puffle maybe? Turn the ball around until you reveal the red puffle.

That’s it! If you found all the coins, you will get 800 coins at the end of the book. Many thanks to Devin for finding all of these great secrets!
