Ten Ton Hamster just received word of some cool things happening at Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Online. They have added the new ghost ships, there will be a screenshot contest, and a Father's Day event. They even released some new screenshots which you can all view below.

Disney's Pirates Of The Caribbean Online has decided to add new Ghost Ships to their waters!
This is what their release said today:
"New Ghost Ships are coming soon to Pirates Online, bringing with them crews of brand-new enemies! Shortly, you will be able to find these undead ships on the Test Servers terrorizing passing pirate vessels. Check back here for more details on when Ghost Ships will sail into the Live game."

Pirates of the Caribbean announced a few new things for both their basic access and their unlimited access members. The team at Disney are working hard at taking to your comments and feedback and implementing them into the game. They also mention 'expanding' the Caribbean world. Does this mean an expansion to the game? We think it might!

Disney released a new Q&A with their Game Developer, Jason Yeung, of Pirates of the Caribbean Online.

So what's the deal with Davy Jones and the Kraken? Do you have plans to add them to the game? Any hints on when that might happen?
Yes, we are definitely planning on adding Davy Jones and the Kraken to the game, and along with them will be all new Quests. Stay tuned for more details!
Is it possible to solo your way through the game, or do you need to join a Crew and/or Guild? Which would you recommend?

Pirates Of The Caribbean Online announced that they are going to be making some changes to the game based on fan feedback.
Here is what they said:
Crew & Morale:
Crewing will be made easier due to added functionality in the Crew Panel. You'll also be able to let others on your server know you're looking for a crew, and receive a bigger bonus for crewing up.

We just received this information from Disney:
"This weekend Disney Online is giving Pirates of the Caribbean Online players the chance to earn double experience points and level up their pirate avatars twice as fast during two in-game events.
Both Basic and Unlimited Access players can earn double reputation points in both land and ship battles this Saturday, April 12th when they play from 12-3pm (PT).

Pirates of the Caribbean Online announced more details on the upcoming release of new weapons for the game.
Here is what they said:
"New weapons have arrived on our internal test servers, and our QA Team is having a great time sharpening their skills with them. We're looking forward to bringing this new weaponry to the public test server soon!

Pirates of The Caribbean Online has finally put the Black Pearl Boss battle back in the game!
Our staff here has yet to win this battle but we are happy to be able to try again! Best of luck to all of you as well!
