Dofus Reaches 10 Million Player Threshold

Congratulations to Dofus! They have reached 10 million players worldwide! That is awesome! They are also working on their new upcoming game Wakfu, which is in beta right now. You can read the press release below:

60,000 Heroic Deaths on Oto Mustam: Dofus Heroic Server!

So, if you thought it was going to be tough on Dofus' Heroic Server...well it is! So far there have been 60,000 deaths since the server opened! Wew, it's only been two days! Check out what Ankama reported below:
Not even two days have passed since the Heroic Server opened its gates and already 60,000 warriors have bitten the dust! About 7,000 others have deserted the World, frightened by the difficulty of the adventure while some courageous souls are still holding on!
Dofus Announces New Heroic Server

Dofus Creates Heroic Server

Dofus has done something very interesting...and probably never been done before in an MMOG. They created (what they call) a Heroic Server. They want to know if players are interested in joining this server. On this server, XP and drops will be multiplied by 3...sounds awesome right? Here is the catch: your character's death will be permanent! I wonder how that will change game play? I would imagine players will be very careful with the choices they make!

Dofus Opens First North American Server

Dofus has realized that it needs a North American server to host all it's subscriptiion players! The first server will be called Solar and it will be available June 24th. They are giving out some cool perks for all those who join in the first week.

Today we’ve made several major changes including a new payment interface, new audio code phone numbers, and the introduction of SMS payments for new countries.
From now on, you can 'Manage your Account' from the DOFUS website. We will keep on improving the Ankama Games website and soon make more changes.
